Did You Know?

The first Google Doodle, which included a burning man figure, was added to Google's homepage in 1998 as an out of office notice. Google's founders, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, had traveled out of town for the Burning Man festival and wanted to be sure users knew they wouldn't be around to solve technical issues.
