An environmentalist wants to save Mother Earth and he or she wants to tell as many people as possible about any research or new ideas about conserving the land, so marketing will definitely be top priority. Almost every business has used or is using forms of traditional marketing. Large companies have used the famous billboards to market their company services and/or products. Large and small companies use newspaper ads and business cards, maybe even flyers and brochures.
In order for an environmentalist to keep a cutting edge on success, he or she will have to stay up to date with modern times and with marketing environmentalism. Using paper products to promote environmental projects and concerns is a contradiction in speech versus action. An environmentalist website that teaches people how to be kind to the environment is an attraction all on its own with limited use of natural resources. Internet marketing is fast, reaches thousands of people each day and it is less expensive than running ads in local newspapers or yellow page ads that are only reaching a handful of people and creating an ecological impact at the same time.
