Kurt Noer

Kurt is the CEO and founder of CM. He started the company in May of 2000 when he realized that the internet was the future of marketing. Kurt was awarded the Entrepreneurial Excellence Award in 2014, Kurt’s love for marketing expands over 30 years. His first full-time job was a graphic designer for a marketing agency in 1982, which sparked his interest in creating great campaigns for brands. Then in the late-1990’s (when Google was just getting started), Kurt was one of the first to be recognized as a Yahoo Ambassador while serving as a marketing director for a fiber optic company. His early search engine optimization efforts grew his employer’s website traffic by over 6,000%. Leads from the website grew from virtually zero to an average of 400-500 per month. During this same time, the company grew by over 300%.

Since then, Kurt has grown CM into an award winning, full service digital & social media marketing agency as well as an official Google Partner. Kurt has always tried to make Customer Magnetism a fun place to work at, including company outings, lunch & learns, and employee appreciation efforts. This effort was recently recognized when Customer Magnetism won Virginia Business’ Best Places to Work award.

As a business owner and member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), Kurt has a passion to help other business owners grow their companies. When he’s not spearheading marketing strategies or improving internal processes, Kurt can be found traveling the world, playing golf or watching a movie with his family in his 600 sq ft home theater room (which he also built from scratch).
