Boss Man

Aaron is the Boss Man at CM, with that in mind, there is only one thing you need to know – He loves Bon Jovi. Alright, there are a few other things you should know about him. Aaron arrived at CM after graduating from Liberty University. Aaron started at CM in 2005 as a project manager, and worked his way up to VP, then to President and most recently, the CCO. Aaron’s love for customer service has allowed him to keep many of his original clients over the years.

As an industry veteran, Aaron is well-versed in all aspects of digital marketing. He leads the company in creative meetings and encourages the team to think outside the box and come up with the best campaigns for our clients. His drive to succeed is contagious and inspires CM and clients alike.

When he’s not at the office, you can find Aaron listening to Bon Jovi while wearing designer jeans.

Rusty James

Vice President of Creative

As VP of Creative, Rusty leads CM’s talented team of web developers and graphic designers. A seasoned designer himself, Rusty has spent the last 12 years with CM creating a full spectrum of memorable visual experiences. From web designs and infographics to video production and print advertising, he’s played in many fields and loves the challenge of discovering new and emerging forms of content.

Over the years, Rusty has been a part of the numerous award-winning campaigns that CM has developed since its inception. With a highly perceptive attention to detail, his thoughtfulness and creative vison have contributed to shaping CM into the digital marketing agency it is today. He also enjoys immersing himself in Internet culture and being aware of the latest online trends. Being conscious of successful campaigns and viral marketing phenomena has helped to give him his relevant edge and allowed him to “wow” clients from a variety of industry spaces.

During his spare time, Rusty enjoys getting lost in the mountains, writing music, and sculpting.

Vicky Simpson

Director of Content Strategy

Vicky is the Director of Content Strategy at CM. She plays an integral role in creating unique and buzz-worthy content for clients ranging from interactive campaigns, to infographics, and micro-content. Working closely with the rest of the team, she ensures that a client’s brand and messaging is consistent across all facets of their digital marketing mix.

You can often find Vicky heading up a brainstorming session (brain hurricane is more like it), where the team strategizes campaigns to bring about client success. Her punctuality and near obsessive time management has crafted her team into a well-oiled machine. Vicky came to Virginia Beach from New York, where she worked at Break Media in the Integrated Marketing Department. Her experience there has helped develop her ability to think creatively and drive strategy for a variety of brands.

Vicky has a B.S. in Marketing and Political Science from Syracuse, so she will forever bleed orange. In her “free” time she likes to walk her dog Finn, go running, hang with her boyfriend, or bake cupcakes!
