The world seems to get smaller and smaller every day with fast and far reaches of the Internet. But sometimes, it’s still important to travel elsewhere for a reminder of how lucky we are to have our family, friends and everything else in our lives. Sometimes we need to stop for a moment and think about the less fortunate. A non-profit group based in Virginia does that regularly. They are called Orphan Helpers.
Orphan Helpers is a non-profit ministry that helps children throughout the world. There are 148 million orphans worldwide. Orphan Helpers mainly focuses its efforts on providing basic necessities for orphaned children in Central America. Many of them live in government-run orphanages and detention centers and have little hope of being adopted.
Orphan Helpers is an organization supported by Customer Magnetism. It has had a busy month of March, completing 4 mission trips to Central America so far. Another group left today for a mission trip in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. They will return at the end of the week. Our hats our off to those taking the time to make the world a better place. We wish them a safe and successful trip.
