So Maybe Google Glass Isn’t A Glimpse Into Our Future?

So we talked about how awesome Google Glass is going to be in one of our previous posts.  The cool thing is it’s looking to be geared up and ready to launch at the end of this year.  However, the limitations it’s bringing with it may make this long sought-after toy less of a ‘must have.’

googleAs you know from our earlier break down on the futuristic device, it has the capability to record and snap pictures on a whim with it’s glasses-like design.  This presents a problem for a lot of industries.  (We’re willing to bet some of your friends won’t be too thrilled either.)

“One of the reasons Glass will find itself unwelcome in places is because its camera lives at the wearer’s eye level. It takes photos or record videos without a red blinking light telling others it’s happening. Anywhere cameras and other recording devices are unwelcome, the same would most certainly go for Google Glass,” says NBC.

google2It’s shaping up to look like Google Glass isn’t going to be welcome in many places.  From strip clubs to theaters, you’ll be checking your new gadget at the door.

Maybe the novelty has already worn off for this new bit of technology? What do you think?
