Apparently Facebook is feeling ready for a wardrobe change. Rumor has it they have been testing a new layout for the sign-in page and it’s shaping up to be pretty different.
Editor-in-Chief and Founder of Techzei, Jash Jacob, mentioned that he had seen a new look on the login page a couple times. He reported that it show-cased a new background of a collage of images, and a box overlay to sign-up.
Perhaps the new background collage is an homage to their newly-owned Instagram?
Facebook updates are nothing new to users. They have established a reputation of changing things up pretty regularly. A new login page seems like a logical, if small, step for Facebook, and if we are correct in guessing it will be used to further promote Instagram, we can probably expect to see the new login page rolling out soon.
Jacob mentioned that he had only seen the potential new page for signing in a couple of times before it reverted back to the regular screen.
Have you seen the new login page at all? What do you think of the potential change?
