Kurt Noer

CEO / Founder of Customer Magnetism

Born and raised in Chicago, Kurt has been in Virginia Beach, Virginia since 1984. Kurt Noer’s first job was for a marketing firm in 1983, designing brochures. In those days, layouts were created by using an old school typesetter which printed out one strip of text at a time on a small piece of paper. This strip of paper was then positioned over a light table using hot wax.

Technology has come a long way since then. Through the years, Kurt has tried a little of everything including 3D CADDdesign for an architect firm, being a full-time youth pastor and launching an international, full color magazine.

While serving as a full time marketing director for a telecommunications company in the mid 1990’s, Kurt began focusing primarily on search engine optimization. Within less than two years, Kurt took his employers niche website from less than 500 monthly hits to over 30,000 per month. The website began to generate between 300-500 highly qualified leads per month and gross sales increased by over 300% within less than two years. The company was able to dramatically decrease spending on other forms of advertising while at the same time enjoy record breaking sales.

Based on this discovery, Kurt initially launched Customer Magnetism in May of 2000 as a partnership with Goodman Consulting & Technology, a division of Goodman & Company. With over 400 employees at the time, Goodman & Company was and still is one of the largest accounting firms in the country. Customer Magnetism quickly became profitable and on January 1, 2003 Kurt bought out Goodman's shares and moved their office to Virginia Beach, VA.

Kurt has spoken at numerous seminars and conferences relating to internet marketing and search engine optimization. He is happily married with two beautiful daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys time with his family, playing golf, snowboarding and following the sport of MMA (mixed martial arts).

Partnerships
Besides the challenges of operating Customer Magnetism and its continual growth, Kurt is open to the idea of working with wholesalers, drop shippers and/or investors who are interested in partnering together on profitable ecommerce businesses which would benefit from years of Kurt's experience.
